Audio randomly cuts out on m37

I’ve had this issue ever since I got the car (a few months ago). Randomly the audio seems to cut out on me my only thought could be the wire harness for the radio might be bad … if anyone has had similar issues or has any solutions please reply thank you in advance.

Does it come back or stays out until you restart the car? Might be your amp...

+1. If the rest of the system works normally but just the audio quits, the most likely cause is an overheating amp.
