Hi quick question, if I remove the current CD player and put in this

http://www.yourhotcar.com/prod...46009

would it fit and work? or am I going to see alot of gaps? Because I want to put it in so it doesnt really stand out. There has been alot of broken windows around my place.

Tint your windows if you haven't already if you don't want thiefs noticing your nice deck. But to answer your question, go here and see my double-din install: zerothread/333973It does have a trim piece that makes it look complete. Look for a metra dash kit on ebay that supports either double din or single din and you use just the double din trim piece out of it and I guess you could sell the rest as a single din kit. Which reminds me, I have the single din parts of my kit if anyone wants it cheap.

Personally, I wouldn't cheap out on a deck. Look for a pioneer with these dvd capabilities and such. If you can't afford it, keep saving up or just go the next model down. If you get a double-din deck, you use the brackets off the old radio.

Pioneer is clearing out the AVIC-D3 now (New model coming out soon), it's a great system that offers full iPod integration (dock connector, not a silly aux in jack) and GPS. See if you can get a good deal on that unit first.

I have one and it's awesome. You can also choose what colour the LED lights are so it perfectly matches the Versa's Orange/Red motif.

I checked it out and its very expansive, some websites will sell it for 999.99 and some for 699.99, but thats a bit too much. I plan to add CAI aswell in the summer.

Dont by no-name radios. Buy a name brand if anything for warranty sake! I work for Clarion so I am some what bias. Check this one we just came out with and Crutchfield is offering it with all the Sirius Radio stuff for free right now. But either way pick a name brand!

DVD in a car is about worthless imo. Unless you are going full-blown DVD NAV, there's really no reason for it.

Check out Pioneer newest DD, the FH-P800BT.

-Bluetooth handsfree phone.-iPod Cable-USB Cable-4V Preamps (3 sets)-7 Band Parametric EQ

SE gives you any necessary installation hardware for free just like Crutchfield.

I agree. I don't see the point of a DVD player inside of a car. That pioneer is great though. That's what I have and the display is big enough to browse through folders and mp3s like a regular mp3 player. 7 band EQ makes for great fine tuning with the speakers. Sounds much better than the stock radio.

Save your money and get something with a NAV system!

I was thinking about that, but I got that TOM TOM. Would one with a Navigation system be better than a TOM TOM GPS??
