I'm new to the whole radio install but ive done 3 installs and none had problems.
So the left rear only works and i went to look into adjust it on the radio and no adjustments so pulled the trims off and grabbed the harness and then it works like normal
So it is safe to say the guys who installed it didn't make a good connection, thats not big problem for me. Whats mounted on the rear shelf in the trunk? Are those factory amps? Because there looks to be 2 rectangle connectors and they are unpluged and tied up in one corner. I found some silver wire from the front of kick panel fuse box running the to the back. Looks to be maybe power wires for a SUB or something
But main concern is why are those factory amps disconnected? Does the headunit offer enough power to bypass it? Is this common practice? Its a cheap panasonic radio, maybe $100 at most. I just wanted to have working speakers and some clean sound. I might put front speakers in this is why i'm asking about the rears.
