Greetings to the Collective:

I had a question I wanted to put out the more educated group of Tech and Gear heads out there. I have recently just joined the ranks with the purchase of 2009 Infiniti G37, I believe the Journey. I bought the car used as a program car and I am very pleased with it. However, the car was equipped with the base audio package with the 6 CD changer, AM/FM, Satellite Radio. I would have like to gotten the Navigation with the system but, it is what it is. I’ve been thinking thou, why couldn’t I just purchase the Navigation unit and all the necessary components and simple replace the standard display I have now. I have found an OEM part that someone was bidding out for ebay (http://tinyurl.com/ycafcbj) and was wondering if I could just replace this with my current unit (not necssarly this unit, but the idea I could use another OEM part to replace what I Have). I’ve also started to search the local salvage and used parts places and was given the following suggestion:

“#25915-JK963C or 25915-JK64A check with dealer and see if these will work”

Does anyone think this might be a viable option or is this more trouble than it’s worth to save a few bucks?
