Audio nav issue

Hi
I bought a 2014 rogue sv with nav a month ago.
I bought the sd card for the gps yesterday. Put it in the slot, asked me to agree to update the software, few minutes later, everything shut down, the screen is off and nothing work in the audio/nav system.

Any help please?

To reset the radio unplug the negative battery terminal for a few minutes and reattach. Then boot up the system with the old card and try the install again. If that does not work you may need a software update from The Nissan dealer where you bought the car. After the update the install/update should work. I had a small military problem doing my update and this solved it. Hope it helps.

Thanks for the answer, the car came witout an sd card, so i always have a message on the screen. I will do what you said. Doesn it make a difference if i dont put an sd card at all?

Not really you can boot up with or without the ad card. Try it with the card in and see what happens. Good luck.

Ok no problem. Is there a way to know if the sd card i got is compatible with my car since i bought it on ebay?
