Badmojo, start saving, it won't take that long.
There are a some things about the TT I actually like better than the Z (though you can see which car I ended up buying). i thought the TT seats are better than the Z's , TT interior materials are nicer, TT has much more useable cargo space, and the ride is better. The Z's ride with 18' wheels is kinda jarring and there's a huge brace that takes up most of the cargo area. I love my Z but I'll even admit it's not a perfect car. but after a year with it, I'm still happy I chose it over a 225 hp quattro TT
Bbill, I had read that the TT's skid pad #'s were about average with its competitors. The downsides to TT's are that they're a little heavy for its size, a little pricier, visibility is not great, and reliability is below its japanese competition. But make no mistake, TT's are very competent sports cars. If you're not a highly experienced driver, a quattro TT is an excellent choice because it handles so predictably.
