The Audi club and Trackdaze have rented out VIR's full course for 3 consecutive days Noivember 17,18,19. and are both offering HPDE's. Audi (Sat/Sun), Trackdaze (Mon) This is the weekend before Thanksgiving. It's a wonderful way to get 3 straight track days at one of the premier tracks in the east. No special requirements for you or your car. Here are the links.

I'm planning to do both events in a mostly stock Nissan. Should hopefully have my upgraded brakes ready by then.

Awesome. Just to give everyone a flavor for the interesting cars that show up to these events. It's not just Audi and VW's that come. I noticed Track Daze published a list of the different cars that are coming to their event thus far.

Among the Japanese cars:Honda PreludeToyota SupraSubie StiMazda Rx-7 (I know the owner, very fast)350Z the owner is great guy (ahem)

American cars:Shelby GT5004 Vette Z06's2 Corvette T1 RacersMany Porsche's ranging from a 924 to a 996TT. Sprinkle in some GT2's, GT3's and 944's.

I know the Audi events regularly sees many Miata's, bone stock to full race , So there are a wide range of horsepower and driver skill, which makes it a fun diverse crowd. It also draws some exotic cars and the occasional celebrity instructor. Randy Pobst and Ian Baas (Stasis Audi) both attended last year. Taking some hot laps with Randy Pobst is worth the price of admission by itself.

There are usually a couple o' Nissans that attend besides mine. Last April there was a Skyline, a nice S14, and a couple of moded Sentras and a nice 350Z.

If you've always want to drive your car triple digit speeds down a country road legally without a racing license, this is the place and the events to do it.

A quick update. The Sat/Sun Audi Club event is now waitlisted for all run groups, but I believe there is still some open slots for the TrackDaze Monday event.

Some more sweet cars showing signed up on the TrackDaze roster. Added:Another 350zDodge ViperFerrari 355F1Rousch Mustang3 miatas.

Real interesting group of vehicles so far.

I think the Track Daze event is gonna be a mandatory bring-the-camera event.I see a few more fun cars added to the TrackDaze roster (I wish Audi did that):

Datsun 260ZVW Phaeton"Backdraft Racing" Cobra (I believe that's a shelby cobra replica -V8 goodness)

I also see an Integra added plus another Sentra. What a cool variety of vehicles...

If you can get the time off, I recommend coming....

The Datsun won't be there. Frank blew the engine out of it at our Summit event, but i think he's going to bring his backup Porsche!

Pics will probably be another few weeks from the event.

Summit went well all things considered. There were a few cars that got banged up, nothing we could have done to prevent it really. No one was hurt and each incident only involved a single car. i.e. no car to car contact.

I see even more entertaining cars getting added.

an SRF (SCCA spec racer), small, quick little race cars. Kinda hard to see them when in a street car, but very cool machines.

A Diasio D962 I believe these are single seat enclosed racecars. I remember seeing one awhile back and thought it looked sexy. Is the one coming a turbo or non turbo?

a 350z track model - "modified". Is that car yellow by any chance?

Caddy CTS-V. Either two of 'em or one that's getting double duty. Should be fun to watch.

Toyota Supra

An Evo8.

Celica GT-S
