Well, this is my second one that broke. I googled the problem and it seems a lot of people have it recently. Probably just a bad batch of batteries. Anyway I was just letting people know that the actual console is not the only unreliable pos Microsoft makes.snwbrdr435 wrote:I have two and have had no problems at all. That's how I justified my GF's mic. Now mine on the other hand happened to come with Tom Clancy's End War. Nevermind that the game was $89 with the mic included. Actually still a good deal considering I wanted to try out the game anyways.MinisterofDOOM wrote:That's how I justified the cost of the wireless mic (I figured I would have to either buy another controller or a mic).
If you really wanted to start crap, you'ld go say that on an XBOX Forum. Make sure to leave a picture of you with your address included as well.pancho y onions wrote:i feel like starting crap so ummmm.....XBOX SUCKS!!! PS3 RULES!!!!
I would love to see this guy go onto an XBOX board and start saying that crap. Nobody will even reply to you if they know rule 14 of the internet.C-Kwik wrote:If you really wanted to start crap, you'ld go say that on an XBOX Forum. You seemed to miss the point completely. This is a small gaming section within a car forum. Noone cares what you think is the top console. If you want to pick a net fight over which console is best, then step up to the plate and go to an XBOX forum and pick a fight. And to be clear, I said to go to an XBOX FORUM. Not XBOX Live. A real gamer would know the difference.pancho y onions wrote:Well i will never say it on xbox live cause of one thing.....I would not waste my money on that pile of poop. But if ya guys want to give me one so i can say crap on xbox live.PS3 RULES!!!
GTFO. If you are REALLY gonna flame us Xbox owners, go to a REAL Xbox forum or better yet go to Xbox.com's forums. I am not gonna speak to you any more and neither should the rest of us. I'd rather not feed a silly troll such as yourself.C-Kwik wrote:

I wonder if you have the same problem as C-kwik and your 1st player controller thinks it already has a mic connected...redtop91 wrote:My only problem is that I can't seem to get the headset and my wireless controller to both connect to the 1st player profile. It always bumps the wireless headset to 2nd player :/
I concur. IF you have access to another controll, try it. The second one I tried had the same issue, but the third one worked fine. Unfortunately, that controller has other problems that occur because it had been dropped a few times so I can't use it permanently for this. I may have to break down and buy another new controller. Hardwood floors and game controllers don't go well together...MinisterofDOOM wrote:

RGR that. I was driving myself nuts with this one. It felt like I was just a dumbass so I didn't want to call in to tech support but maybe it isn't me after all. I'll give that a shot.C-Kwik wrote:

Frankly, I don't mind being tethered to the controller, but that's not the reason I bought it. It was 2 reasons. 1st, as a work around for a wired mic issue. 2nd, because I have a collection of controllers that don't work properly because they've fallen off the table when I put it down to do something. If I didn't need to stand up, I didn't bother to take off the headset but if I forgot it was still on my head and got up or accidentally hit the cord, the controller would fall off the table. I think of it as a long term investment into not having to buy more controllers for being clumsy.keith0486 wrote:i don't see the point of having a wireless mic are you really that lazy to carry a a little controller around with you if you do need to talk to someone.
I did not mean for this thread to be bashing the 360, or anyone or anything for that matter. I was just saying consider staying away from the wireless mic. Yes, it really has a problem. A lot of people are having it and I called microsoft. They acknowledge the problem and it's being shipped to texas right now.redtop91 wrote:As usual another 360 bash thread fails because of people making random generalizations. How do they break? Under what conditions? Did you setup a controlled test eliminating the user end of the equation to definitively say that its the headset and not the way it's being used and or abused? Like every other complaint that has been raised against the 360 I've yet to have experienced any trouble with it. My only problem is that I can't seem to get the headset and my wireless controller to both connect to the 1st player profile. It always bumps the wireless headset to 2nd player :/
I've been breaking the wired headsets since the launch day of the original Xbox. I've gone through 4 Xbox 360 wired headsets. At $20 a pop, I'm with the President Elect, it's time for a change.keith0486 wrote:i don't see the point of having a wireless mic are you really that lazy to carry a a little controller around with you if you do need to talk to someone.
