Wow! Wouldn't have seen that thread otherwise, thanks for posting. A very good read and many points made. Very surprising to see Andy having posted here!

Having read the two articles presented it is interesting in some ways to "see and hear" about the inner workings of upper management in auto manufacturing, but honestly it doesn't really mean much to me because it is a completely different world than I reside in.
My opinion of quality and engineering for most cars built is not very high and the value structure is a mess, leaving the consumer a TOUGH job first of finding ANY real value in the products out there, and then fitting that into your own taste and style...which in my case means there is NO WAY I ever buy a new car and take that financial hit, then find over time if that product is actually a quality piece and then if it retains any value over that period.
FAR smarter to buy a known quality piece at a time in it's existence when cost and future viability/value are a little closer together...and time has also kicked in with appreciation of a certain style or design.
Just my 2 auto cents!
But then again I do appreciate the fact that we are not exclusively Z32 here at NICO and there is a lot of stuff here to do for people of all appreciation levels, keep it up guys! :dblthumb:
