ATTN: S13 Whiteline Sway Bar (F) fitment

Just to let you guys know.....if you already have, or are planning on getting a Whiteline adjustable front sway for your RB S13, *don't* put it on the middle stiffness setting. The stiffest setting won't fit at all; with the bar on the middle setting, it *will* clear the oil pan, but barely. I had mine on the middle setting for a while and a couple weeks ago, the D-brackets just liberated themselves from the car. After checking it out it looks like the engine was shifting a little and the pan was putting pressure on the sway bar, or something. The pan is a little bit dented and the sway bar was hanging down to within an inch of the ground I'd use the lowest stiffness setting if I were you.

That's odd. On my S14, which should have identical chassis geometry, the Whiteline bar has plent of room, regardless of setting.
