seriously...there has been a string of repeated thread and repost about HID's, intakes, and rims. its annoying to have to look through the threads and see that 4/10 threads are reposts....we have a wheel thread stickied to the top that everyone seems to ignore, right now there are two HID threads on the front page, and there are too many intake threads. PLEASE start using your mod powers and lock these annoying threads and tell them to use the SEARCH button that flashes RED at the top.....i mean during my whole time here i only seen you lock like 5 threads out of a lot that need to be. you guys are mods, start acting like one lol

I disagree, I like the atmosphere of this forum. I don't want it to become like everywhere else with trigger happy mods abusing their power.

+1 Sometimes people like to ask specific questions, even if some parts of it are reposts. Also new people post threads asking questions which is great because we get to welcome them and help them out at the same time!

yeah, but I sorta agree, it's a bit annoying to have to look at the same things over and over again...

To the OP. I am not, nor is Eric, a search Nazi or abuse of power type.

There WILL be redundant requests for information. Sometimes more than others. If this happens, we as a group here usually point them in the right direction. If threads get out of hand in terms of content etc I deal with them as I see fit. This also goes for ease of use of the content as well.

Don't tell me how to do my job.

I'll have to agree with Tyler on this one. Although the same questions keep popping up, I feel that we should be here to help others out. After all, that is what this forum is about. I'm a member of another forum where the mods tend to abuse their power x100. If any new member asks a question which has been asked within the past 5 years, the mods are the very ones who take their power above what I believe is fit. Rather than help newbies out, they tend to scare them away.

Ultimately, the main function of this forum, along with every single other one, is to get hits. The more members the better. We should welcome all new members and answer whatever questions we can.
