Nope, I pretty much abandoned the project since I couldn't find any donors. However, the SR20DET compressor will work well with custom A/C lines that will be made for cheaper than I could've done this, I believe. Haven't done it yet, but I asked around locally and supposedly you can take a truck service shop your original lines and the ones off the SR compressor (the connections to the compressor itself) and they can make your lines match up to the new compressor for roughly $30-50. With that said, the lines they make may have to bend a little differently to accomodate the SR motor and/or different exhaust manifolds so keep in mind that you may have to do some measuring/visualizing. Of course, if the motor is already in the car, they would do all that--but the total price would be higher. So, I'm gonna try that route. There was a writeup of some guys that used all their SOHC components and bolted up to a KA/SR compressor. I don't remember where...Google it and I'm sure you'll find it as well
When I finally get this in the car and get the A/C working, I'll follow up with exactly what to do for us SOHC guys!!
