Hey Nicoclub Z32 owners!
Winter means Z32 FUEL LEAKS!

- Do you smell gas in the mornings?
- Do you own a phillips screwdriver?
- Do you breathe air?
If you have answered yes to either of the questions above, it's time to check your hose clamps!
Follow this video to tighten and check ALL 20 fuel clamps under the hood!

I can GUARANTEE 100% that there will be more than one person here with a dangerous fuel leak from the regulator or dampener.
How scary is that?!

[TL;DR Section]
Fuel leaks are caused by the contraction of the fuel hose with the drop of climate temperature.
Cold = shrink. Hot = expand. Therefore, you typically will smell gas only in the morning or on first start-up.
If you still smell gas after the car is hot, you have a serious leak!
There are a few other sources of that fuel smell. THESE ARE LESS LIKELY:

- Gas cap. Is it actually on all the way? Is the clutch that prevents over-torque slipping before the cap fully seals?
- Fuel pump O-ring. This sits between the gas tank and the pump.
- Fuel pump hoses. There are lines sitting ontop of the fuel pump that can also leak.
- Regulator and dampener. These have a thin membrane inside of them separating the vacuum and the fuel. When the membrane fails, Pull the vacuum line, they should be dry!
Always replace with OEM Nissan high pressure fuel hoses: A6440-N7685!
Here are some common venders who sell hoses \ kits.
