Hey kevin, what are my options for new struts again. Whats the cost? These teins smoked my factory setup pretty bad. The struts are just to big to be used with the teins and they blew up. Let me know.

KYB SR Specials from OneTonGarage, unless Kevin is bringing in some also.

Big improvement and good ride, with Eibachs in my case.

Van(OneTonGarage) ordered a few extra sets of SRs when I ordered mine. You'll be one of the lucky ones that does not have to wait for them to be sent over from Japan.

I just got an email from Blind6 who bought the Tein's as well as KYB's and he wrecked the car before installing any of it. He's going to post them on here for sale soon.

Well, his price is for the set of spring & shocks, but you only need shocks, see if you can get him to sell the shocks alone to you. The reality is that they're the only option other than OEM, and even OEM isn't going to save you much. I rode for the better part of 7 months on my OEM shocks with the Tein's and I honestly didn't mind the ride, sure there were some big bumps that I'd really slow for, but overall it wasn't that bad. However, the KYB SR Specials are much firmer and sportier.

Well, mine are shot. The throw on the struts is much more than the teins allow. They bottom out and ruined my struts. I drove pretty carefull too. Im wondering if its caused by mine having the touring suspension. Could the travel be greater on those vs. a standard models struts?

Don't know about the variable shocks, but the Tein will wear a standard set faster.

I bet the adjustable are designed for a specific rate and length of travel.

Go back to stock springs with new stock adjustables or Teins with KYB SR Specials seem to be your only choice. The KYB are worth it.
