this has nothing to do with a hatch.. im not staring at my rims when im driving, and i have an se cluster. i am happy with my car, i love it, but it doesnt have that feeling an s13 hatch gives. nice pics btw guys, that kouki on a coupe is interesting.

It is interesting on the coupe, but i wanna see a hatch with kouki front. A guy at the meet i went to in LA, is in the process of doing the swap.

I just wanna own every 240 there is. I drive a coupe and a hatch s13, now i just want a kouki s14 se and ill be set for right now. Thatd be sweet. I wanna buy myself a coupe though. Gets old driving my gfs, cuz i want one of my own though.

But yeah i agree, all these hatches and coupes are freakin sick. Gp sports rps13 gets my freakin vote though. Ahhh one day, one day.

I agree with you, I also wouldn't mind adding an S15 to that list either.

kouki s14>s13 hatch>zenki s14>nissan hardbody>1986 mr2>s13 coupe

I drove several coupes and they made me actually NOT want a 240. UNTIL i drove a hatch and fell in love. From my personal experiences, stock to stock, a hatch looks better, handles better, drives better than a coupe. HELL, i think a first gen ford explorer looks better than an s13 coupe - that's why when given the option last year...i picked up a ford explorer & when given the option this year...I picked up ANOTHER hatch instead of a coupe.

I have to hatch's, my nephew has a coupe. I have yet to hear anyone say they like his better (other than him).

But the coupe boys do have two things i'm envious of... HUD & power sunroof.

I have always wanted a kouki s14, tho. but i wouldn't trade my hatches for one. (maybe trade one of my hatches, so i can have one of each).

Follow your desires, you won't regret it.

Are you serious, I've seem some serious coupes in my day, I don't like the stock look of the coupe personally, but you can make them look awesome with some minor mods!!!!! I would have all if i could. I don't know what your problem is with the explorer though.. That was a bad choice lol

yeah ummm explorer??? I think not. Id rather have a raggedy coupe than a piece of junk like that......thats my opinion though..And yeah i forgot to mention that i wouldnt mind an s15 in my garage as well as an r31 and r32, thatd be sweet. But i keep my dreams semi realisticly for now. hahahah.

i'll always favor the hatch, and there def isnt a replacement. s13 or not, a coupe just doesnt do it for me. i dont mean for this thread to be a hatch vs coupe thread, i just wanted to get some feedback on people that have owned/drove both and its pretty obvious to me that if i got a coupe i still wouldnt be satisfied, unless it was maybe 100 bux or something

LOL, im not butthurt about the OP preferring hatchbacks.

i just think if he already liked the hatchback more, whyd he create the thread asking if he should wait for a hatchback or just buy the coupe...

he already knew he liked the hatchback more. why ask opinions?

but you have to realize, that the only pic is of a sic gp sports hatch, i think that the coupe is ugly stock, but with the proper modification, it can be just as good if not better than the hatch, the lines are very aggressive with the right body kit and wheels and paint. if tramp or anyone post a tricket out coupe like the hatch above, it would be clear that the coupes might get more support.

It's so funny watching people beat each other up over trunk or hatch, S14 or S13, kouki or zenki DON'T FORGET CHUKI Who the hell was that?

You guys have some whacky priorities.
