so i went to fix the problem, it turns out i have to take off the strut bar, and remove the strut just to get it to tie back into the strut.... easier said then done, turns out one of the nuts that ties the strut to the car is stripped.... now im waiting for the tool, from a coworker so i can take it out and fix the problem.... oh yeah i had to take off the widshield wipers and the plastic cover again... i guess this time i will use thread locker...

You mean a mod not designed for the vehicle can result in unwanted damage? Weird.

Lowering your car caused one of the tie rods to pop off, correct?

yeah thats exactly what it was.... the easiest way to put it back on with out taking the hole strut out of the car is to use a jack underneath and lift it up untill you can put it back in....

oh wow. I was wondering what that was..a friend of mine put my springs on and i remembered that part being the last one he bolted. so it just came right off. i could be missin' something, but did that have anything to do with the springs or was it just an oversight?

i think it came off with vibration... i had to replace the nut... 14mm.... picked up from autozone, also aplied thread locker, high heat.... im lucky, i didnt know when it had came off, but all the threads on the bolt were clean.... so it turned out to be an easy fix...

If it ccame off because of vibration, that would be an oversight, such as it wasn't tightened in the first place. I've had my lowering springs on for 30k miles now and I don't have any adverse effects.

The problem is not the aftermarket accesories ruining the vehicle, it is improper installation that causes problems. In the 15 years I've been driving, not one of my cars has been left stock. And I've never had any of the parts cause problems to any of the cars.
