ATTN Android users! Droid 2s SUCK! Help me find a new phone!

Looking at other phones, though, it doesn't have the features of some of the ones running the older Android.

It has a huge screen, but the camera is weak. It's not as water resistant and I can't pick up TV on it.

Japan seems to ironically lag on cell phone OSs, the rest are running 2.3. These two have the same speed CPU and the best cameras, are waterproof and can pick up TV. This is "with" series; I have no clue what the difference is. I'll have to find out.

This one has the slower processor, but a faster internet speed and a screen bigger than those two and only bested by the Galaxy in that area. The camera is not as good as the others, but considerably better than the Galaxy.

Well, I just dropped $650 on a new phone.....

I went with the Aquos running 2.3 Android.



Nico comes in great. This is the first phone I have had with internet connection. Yes, you read that correctly, no internet till today. If you need a sign that 2012 is the end of the world there it is, I got the net on my phone finally.


I got a bunch of miscellaneous crap with it.



What's that? Oh that, yes. That is a roll of toilet paper.



Japan has some interesting social conventions. Pocket tissue packs are often given as a gift when purchasing items. It is so prevalent I was surprised when I didn't get one. No, they gave me toilet paper. This is confusing not because toilet paper is not giftable, but rather because this is not the traditional venue for that. Now if I had bought a large quantity of gas, then, then I would have expected toilet paper. Yes, you get free toilet paper with a fill up.
