You are invited to a countryside drive on some of the most scenic and challenging roads in Texas. This event is being organized for Z, Nissan, and Infiniti car owners only. The event is called the Raging Bull Texas Stampede and it is being sponsored by the 350Z Roadster Club (http://www.350ZRC.com). It is a 300+ mile course that starts in Austin has been designed for our maximum enjoyment (we’ll leave in the morning and come back before sundown).

The Tourmeister has driven hundreds of miles to put together this route. There is practically no one on half of the roads along the route, except for a few motorcyclists who have discovered these roads. Detailed maps and directions will be provided, so no one needs to worry about getting lost. If you want to enjoy driving your Z, Nissan or Infiniti car all day, the way it was designed to be driven, come on out and ride with us.

Every Z/Nissan club in Texas has been invited (Abilene, Dallas, Fort Worth, Austin, San Antonio, and Houston), so there should be plenty of new faces and rides for everyone to meet.

There will be a drawing to give away at least six NISMO accessories to those who ride the stampede to the end.

The event flyer can be downloaded at:http://350zroadsterclub.com/up...r.pdf

Registration is required. To register, please go to:http://350zroadsterclub.com/stampedeRegister.html

Please write to [email protected] if you have any questions. Look forward to seeing you at the Stampede!

Man, I would really love to go. I live near Austin, but I will be in Pennsylvania visiting my fiancee.

Welcome to Texas: It's like a whole other country, as we like to say down here. I'll make sure to keep you in mind when we have the next one.

Well my situation is thus: I am a senior year University Student in Dallas, and as such my funds are limited. While the registration is only $5, the gas is the killer. I calculate that this will cost me some $60 in gas, and probably the bill will be well over $100 after this is all done (food as well).

However the bright side is I am just starting as a one year ROTC Air Force cadet. If I pass my fitness test tomorrow I will start getting paid and my monetary situation looks better. So for now I am leaving this up to tomorrow's test.

I am going to wait to register but I am pretty much going to be there. I need to find a co-driver...

dfw240_EE, rico05: I know it's quite some distance for both of you, but I hope you can join us for the fun. If you can register in advance it will save us time Saturday morning.

Take care.

Sounds like fun but I'm not sure yet. If not this time, next time. We'll see how the funds are and my scheduling.

Well, my situation is even more interesting. I was told yesterday that since I did not pass the practice test last friday, I had to take the practice test again. I did pass!!! However, since it was still the practice, this doesn't count and I don't get to contract off of it. Summary, I am still not getting paid. So I may just save the money for a Christmas roadtrip to Indiana

Everyone meets at 8:30 am or earlier. Drivers' meeting at 8:45. Saddle up and run at 9 am sharp. No waiting.

Update: With almost one week to go, 15 people have registered so far. I think that's pretty good.
