It seriously just looks like you ripped off the decal off of the pop up switch? And some how you would have had to use the brown wire because thats what that switch is connected to.

I wouldnt pay 30 dollars for something i can wire up myself. Which i have already done for Silvia friends in the past. And as for Reliability? Seriously, just throw a low watt fuse in there and call it a day
RB25nURface, yes, i used the outer housing from the pop up light switch thats why i took the pop up light decal off to put a fog decal on it because it is now a fog switch, the connector you are seeing me plug this switch into is the OEM fog lamp wiring that i already pulled through, the pop up light wiring was already puhsed through, the internals of the pop up lights switch were not used nor was the connector from the pop up switch, i did not cut the brown wire, i didnt even use the pop up wiring, i used the OEM fog lamp wiring our S13's are equipped with, pull out your pop up light switch and compare the connector part to mine, please read and pay attention to my posting before commenting, i cannot be more clear about what i did and didnt do.

Ive done several wiring jobs for friends Silvia lights. And Ive never cut the brown wire. I used the corresponding plug and utilized just the wire on the other side along with a fuse to each bulb... So no, didn't hack up the harness. And the total cost on my end for that? 0 dollars. Unless you want to count the tools that i used to do it.
please read what i have been posting please, i cut NO wiring, used factory parts to make my switch, anyone can put some switch but i used the housing of my pop up light switch because it fits in the spot the JDM silvia fog lamp switch, i used the OEM fog light wiring and did not cut or add any fuses other than then OEM relay that goes into the spot it belongs in the relay box that is already fused iirc, parts cost me almost $20 so $30 isnt bad considering im not charging people shipping or the OEM relay you need to put under the hood, the relay alone cost $50+
im offering people a a chance to take advantage of using OEM fog lamp wiring and having a factory button placed where it belongs without having some random place to to add a aftermarket fog lamp switch, not to mention have a clean OEM look inside their car, look up that OEM silvia fog lamp switch and tell me which price you'd rather pay.

no sorry, almost every vehicle with fog lamps only run fog lamps when the head lights are on, the way that nissan made our fog lamp wiring in our cars run the same way, fog only turn on when the head light are on and when i turn my high beams on low beams and fog lamps turn off.
to everyone wondering, the head lamps are connected to the OEM 240sx head lamp wire harness, so i did not rig anything in my car, im currently trying to find a fog lamp decal that i can have made for these buttons to complete the look, one more and last time im gonna repeat this, THIS SWITCH IS PLUG AND PLAY, LETS SAY YOU BUY ONE FROM ME, YOU GET THE BOX OPEN IT, TAKE THE BUTTON OUT, DISCONNECT YOUR POP UP LIGHT SWITCH, PUSH THE POP UP LIGHT WIRING CONNECTOR IN (YOU WILL NOT USE IT) LOCATE YOUR OEM FOG LAMP WIRING HARNESS PULL IT THROUGH THE PORT WHERE THE POP UP LIGHT SWITCH WAS AND PLUG IN MY SWITCH AND YOU'RE DONE.
I DID NOT CUT THE "BROWN" WIRE, I DID NOT CUT ANY FACTORY WIRING, I DID USE THE PUP UP LIGHT BUTTON HOUSING, THE CONNECTOR AND THE INTERNALS ARE NOT POP UP LIGHT PARTS, THESE PARTS ARE ALL OEM AND MADE FOR FOG LAMPS. i am picky about my car, i dont want some aftermarket fog button randomly put somewhere random place in my interior, i know some of you are the same way, thats why i came up with this.
