Yes thats right! GET STOKED! We're back!

This is to get you guys ready, details are being worked out but we are VERY close to getting all the details worked out...

Quantities available will be very limited, as Robert (the ECU programmer) only wants to do a couple a month. I have 3 lined up right now and they are basically ready to go.

I want to gauge interest, they are going to be a little more expensive.... Current pricing is going to be about $250 with a $100 core charge. I have to buy the core ECU's and we got burned a couple times before and im not letting it happen again.... We will send you an ECU ready to go, and you send us back a working ECU.. Trust me, im going to put this in my Q to be sure it works before I refund your money! You cannot send us an ECU and we reprogram it because we are doing this in runs, IE we do a few a month and then I sell them as the people want them.

i'm working out the details for those with active or TCS cars, however I think I should have a few ECU's for those cars in stock.... worst case scenario you have to wait a little longer but I can get those at some point....

So... who's in? Like I said, its looking like im only going to have 3 available in the near future, and very hit and miss after that

OTHER DETAILS: For those of you that dont know what the NICO ECU is or does, it is a reprogrammed stock ECU that gives you roughly 30HP gain... It eliminates your top speed limiter and raises RPM limit to 7400 RPM... it is a very noticeable upgrade... This ECU requires no other modifications, simply install the ECU into the car and instant 30HP, and installing the ECU is very simple.

Of course, you could just ask the over 50 other guys on this forum about how they liked the ECU!

You also get a 4 way switchable map with the ECU, which means you're basically getting 4 ECU's in one. With the flip of a switch, you can have our stage 2 program (which is even more powerful than JWT's tune AND its safer!), our BALLS OUT stage 3 program (which makes the car FLY), our patented "valet" program which limits the vehicle to 3000 RPM and 60MPH, or switch back to the stock ECU program.

The only qualifiers are you must have operational knock sensors or you will feel no difference. The ECU uses the knock sensors which is why we make more HP than JWT, while JWT's ECU does not use knock sensors. You must also run premium at all times!

So, who's in?

Quick question, is Robert still re modifying the original NICO ecu's?

id like the stage 3, but mines just jdm, stage 2, and valet.

I understand if he doesnt have the time to take that on.

But all else aside,, THESE ECU's ARE WORTH THEIR WEIGHT IN GOLD!

We can probably work that out if you wanted, however I'd have to do that completely seperately. I will see what I can do!

Wes, Count me in for one ASAP. No interest in stage 3 at this time, but definitely a stage 2. Can pay immediately if one is available for a '94q45t, no TCU or active,so shouldn't be anything out of the ordinary, right. Let me know what's up and I can even send you a working core from a '92.Nomenclature on the donor ECU is A18-A21 P60 and the one in my Q now is A18 P16 P93. Don't know what the #'s mean if anything, but I had a house fire, and am just readjusting to life as I once knew it!!! Need something to add some excitement into my life to get my mind off the other losses. Lemme know if there are any issues, and how you want payment. PayPal seems best and fastest, but however you want it sent is amenable to me. Just did an under plenum job, swapped fuel rails due to a bunch of marginal injectors, and she's running well. Thanks for all your support and service to us ill-informed Q owners. The FSM is helpful to clarify, but too detailed and time-consuming for most things. Hope to hear from you soon! You made my day as I have been patiently awaiting the resurgence of the modded ECU's.

remember that with the ECU you get those 4 programs already installed! So you get stage 2, stage 3, stock, and valet all on the same ECU for the same price!

Guess I've been away too long. House fires tend to temporarily adjust your priorities, and some things get put on hold, but I'm back and ready to dedicate some time and $$$ to make the Q into a reliable performance machine. Won't ever equal my long lost mid-engine 1800lb. Italian exotic pocket rocket in handling or adrenaline rushes, but now I'm too old for that anyway. Fell in love w/the Q within 3 minutes of my first test drive and haven't looked back. Many moments of angst and questions about my practical judgment, but each time I spend some time in maintenance, I am richly rewarded by taking it out for a spin. Suspension components are next, and I've already found that it can be a bit spendy, even as a DIY. Haven't even installed Jeff's strut tower brace yet.

Anyway, lemme know the next step as I don't want to miss out on this batch. Should I swap out the ECU's and send my original, or would I run into issues w/HICAS etc. if I put the '92 in my touring model. If no issues, it makes no difference which one is modded.

I'll have to do some research to see what the stage 3&4 do. I've been out of the loop for a while. Thanks again.

How long are you gonna hold an ecu for someone's money?Just because someone says "I want it" doesn't mean they will pony up.Don't get burned again Wes. I say Who gets you the money first gets the ecu. Or you could play nice guy and wait for the money for how long???????Do you want my $250 NOW or not Wes?

Wes,

I am definitely in and ready to pay as soon as you indicate.

I have a 94 "active" with traction control. Does that give you enough info about what I need.

It appears I am a bit down on the list now.

I am excited.

Thanks

Bruce

Does this ECU affect factory or aftermarket extended warranty?Do you or will you have them for F50, or just G50/Y33?If so, what do you estimate HP increase for F50?What is entailed in installing one?

Thanks

Well I guess that I'll have to wait until Feb. Also I have TCS system but I'm not concerned with keeping it. Will that effect the ECU at all?

If you put a non TCS ECU into a TCS car it will throw a "slip" and "TCS OFF" lights and the TCS systme wont work.
