How hard is it to put in? That depends on your mechanical abilities. I don't think it is very hard at all. It is just bolt, then unbolt.

If you are looking at a stock vehicle with stock power then a stock or mild clutch would be fine.

ACT or spec make nice clutches. FOr street, a sepc stage 1 or whatnot will be fine, I use a ACT racing clutch, six-puck style....

not to bad to install...if you have a lift. if you dont, it can be a *****.-chet

240SX.org has FAQs on how to install a clutch.

I usually run the car onto car ramps when I have to do them on the ground.

Exar-Kun was referring to doing it on your back is just not fun. Clearance really isn't usually and issue. It just is a pain in the butt! Doing it on the lift is just so much easier and so much more comfortable.

I've had my SPEC stage 1 in for a few months, and I absolutely love it. It grips hard, and never lets go. Good price, too.

Nick.
