I remember you mentioning you were going to go standalone. Was it the Haltech you were saying uses the stock CAS without a problem?

i was thinking of going with the Haltech E6X, what do you think? I wonder if it will support the nissan trigger as well?

good, youve convinced me

gonna start saving, i really like how you tune a haltech as opposed to the rest, with bars and arrows instead of numbers?

The E6X maps remind me of SAFC maps. I am likely going to spend the extra to get the E8 so I can get the Halwin software with the 3D maps, I prefer that.

It doesn't matter if they have bars and arrows or pretty little graphs and 3D color imaging, if you can't tune, you still will mess-up. Don't choose an engine management system based on graphics because most aren't at all simple. They are designed for people who have some knowledge of what's going on with the characteristics of the motor, what upgrades are done to the motor and so forth and so on. Do more research before making a selection on an engine management system because I've seen many people abandon their projects because of said issue.
