Some urethane pieces really are practically indestructable at least from what I heard. Stillen kits for example can be wrapped around a light pole and it'll bend right back into shape over night. At least from what I heard.Kittychubbs wrote:oh its urathane!? cool!but not undestructable when u drive ur car hard. hehe most driveways are not b.kit n lip lowerd cars friendly, okay then , BUT 300 still way pricey. i say 230 for urathane lip would be decent.
Yes, but when you're running as low as me, the lip scrapes everywhere and tucks the fender with it too casuing the tape to unstick. So yeah, I'm ditching the same lol. Might add a screw on each side of the lwoer tabs where it mounts to the bumper under the vents for better fitment. tape ain't holding up.BaliLover wrote:Did you follow the mounting instructions about scuffing the lip with 80 grit sand paper and cleaning it to remove the stuff the mold left?
how expensive can it be? just go to your local auto parts or hardware store and buy or just steal a $3 or $4 roll.s13jus10 wrote:hey, where is the place I can get 3M tape the cheapest?

Where's the negative rep when you need it dammit. Home depot equals ghetto stuff and that doesn't fly. I bet you run rotas and Megans becuase they were cheap, hahaha. Right from the getgo, people knew this lip wasn't gonna be cheap, but hey, you gotta pay to play, and this lip owns pretty much any add on lip out there in the market. It looks good, is nearly indestructable, and for the price and what you're getting, it's unbeatable.Drift n show wrote:250 bucks!!! you mind as well just go to ebay, or buy a new bumper when you mess up the old on. seriously dude, ill make my own damn lip kit!! its not really that hard, a friend of mine did it and it looks hot and nothin like a ricer. by reading that, i thought you needed the factory part.guess not.94_240sx wrote:Someone actually went to Home Depot and checked out wall trim that people use to fabricate lip? I was curious, so I did when I went to Home Depot one day. I think material is VERY similar to Xenon lip. Yeah, but if you have a factory lip in good shape, you are better off with Xenon lip. Good looking, nice fitment and most of all durable. If you lower your S13, you know what's going to happen to your front bumper. I have a fresh paint on my bumper and am happy with Xenon lip...
I guess you just have to call Russ andsee if he still can do it.babowc wrote:is this still runninnnggG???i misseed the first round
