I've been doing a lot of research on boosting my maxima. It seems that the hardest thing to come by is going to be the feed pipe running form the headers to the turbo. Ive contacted Turbo-Kits.com and since they say they are willing to sell individual parts from a kit, I figured that applied in this situation, well that motto doesnt apply to maxima owners. I dont want to buy a kit because I want the Turbo to be MY creation, not something anyone could buy if they had the money. Does anyone know where I can get that Pipe? Or atleast a place I can get one fabricated?

I would contact Turbo-Kits.com and see if they could give you the dimensions of the feed pipe. Then, take said dimensions to a local machine shop and have feed pipe made.

You can contact PFI turbo, they make a kit for the 4th gen that is comparable to the kit on turbo-kits.com.

Or if you want to be totally different, contact Autolab in Louisville, KY (502) 266-6646. They fabricated a reverse y-pipe design for HLH0501 that placed the turbo at the front of the engine bay. You'd have to replace the radiator with a unit that is approximately half the size of stock, but could go 2 cores deep, and add a custom fan to replace the stock two fan unit. I don't know if they have a jig from the work they did, but it'd be worth a call.

I never even thought of that as a means to clearance problems regarding boosting the Maxima. Learn something new everyday.

Here are a couple of pictures of the reverse y-pipe design minus the fan. Theoretically, it should spool much faster that the other design, since the exhaust pressure has less distance to travel to the turbo.
