i don't know about that.i love to climax.

anyways, i have heard this neat fact about the european headlights. on the s14 200sx, you could change the beam pattern from LHD to RHD and vice versa via an in vabin dash mounted switch! this is due to the fact that some countries are LHD while others are RHD in Europe.

uh...are you sure? because usually the beam pattern is due to the reflective housing's shape...which would mean they are shape shifters...

AAAH!

euro 200sx headlights=monsters! run

Nice find SoCal, they're almost as hot as the clear lenses, but definatly less of a pain to put in, and they'll never yellow... HOOORAYYYY. I wonder how hard it would be to get inside them to black out the edges. Is it my head playing with me but those glass lenses looks like they have less fluting than our plastic ones.

So many headlights so many decisions... dammit first i need rims though:(

I just dont know, that's over $550 for the pair. That is alot for headlights. I can get your yellowed lights returned to as new and guarantee them for as long as you own the car for $50. A friend of mine that does body work is starting this service. I'll be posting pics and all about it within a week. nice find though, I'd like to have glass lenses but, I can find better things to do with $550...lol. that's a set of pistons!!

i've cleaned mine up pretty good just need to find some good buffing compound, i just like the fact they look closer to the clear lenses. I wanna keep my zenki sexiness but have the clear eyes of the kouki.

MECP: Yea, I was very surprised to see them, they will not be available till october. I have used the wet sanding (1500-2000 grit) followed by the metal polish, followed by some plastic polish technique. They came out really nice, much better than they were. However, they still are not as nice or clean looking as I would like...we'll see...

Damn, for $550 glass headlights, I would have thought they'd look a LOT clearer...guess I'd need to see an on-the-car picture. But thanks a LOT for the link anyhow man! Zenkis represent!

My headlights almost look as clear as that (after a recent cleaning :))

I don't think getting glass lights is about being "clearer" but more about NOT being yellow, OR turning yellow...something any Zenki owner can appreciate....

Maybe for some, but not for me. My headlights have never actually looked that yellow...what the hell do you guys drive in that they're turning yellow?

Socals14--you live in Cali...I wish I lived in an area where it's so easy to keep cars clean...you should have no problem keeping your lights from yellowing. The unpredictable weather of New England is a different story (think sand, salt). I've cleaned my lights twice since I've gotten the car over 2 years ago, and they've never yellowed in between. Maybe it's the stuff I use to clean them that protects them more than what other people use. But for $550, the lights should DEFINITELY look more aesthetically pleasing--that's the whole concept behind those "clear" headlight covers, I thought (which are plastic and have the potential to yellow). Otherwise, if all one wants is a non-yellow, non-clear headlight, just stick to sanding and polishing.

Anyway, does anyone have a picture of these german headlights on a 240? I remember seeing them a while back and thinking they looked extremely good, but in the picture they look too much like normal zenki lights.

Unfortunately thats all they are...normal Zenki lights, but with different materials. I here you on the "clean car" deal...With the type of weather we have, its very easy to garage your car and keep it very clean (thats what I do, hehe).

AS far as aesthetics, I do agree its time for someone to make some nice projectors for the Zenki...Long overdue.
