NICO needs your help!

NICO members: -----> "So what ELSE is new, Hitman?"

Very funny, smarty-pants. Here's the deal:

We have historically been remiss in reviewing the latest offereings from Nissan and Infiniti. I am therefore looking for a few (perhaps 3) members to go out and do some "investigative reporting".

I'd like to see some reviews of Nissan's (and Infiniti's) newest cars/trucks. Any of you who have read Motor Trend or Car & Driver know that their articles are top-notch, and great reading. They also are VERY objective, and many make you want to go out and BUY the car they reviewed.

Of course, these articles need to be accompanied with pictures, so be sure to take your camera with you and we'll host the pics.

The best way to do this is to call and schedule an appointment for a test drive with the Internet Sales Manager. Let them know you're representing NICO, and are interested in doing a review and shooting some pictures to be posted on the site. Email me ahead of time, and I can load you up with ALL the info on our site, as far as traffic, demographics, etc., as well as my contact information in case they want to "check your credentials".

Those of you who know me, know that I have NO problem providing a professional reference for any of you looking to break into the business, or land a better job in the field. I can be pretty persuasive. :)

"New Car Columnist for the largest N/I site in the world" looks pretty nice on a resume or application, and again, I'm glad to be listed as a reference if you contact me ahead of time.

I'm sure I can scare up some other "tokens of appreciation" for the right person.... I can see this turning into a pretty fun gig if you go about it the right way.

Interested parties should contact me via email at [email protected].

I got your email but I've been having problems with my internet; if you emailed me back with more specifics on what car(s) you want reviewed, and what type of review (I could probably set up a back to back versus a honda since our local nissan dealer is also a honda dealer) and all of that.

No problem buddy - It'd be nice to get some reviews on the new Sentra, new Fronteir, Armada, and Altima...

Take your picks! :)

(a comparo of the Alty against the Accord would be SWEET!)

I'm only 21 but I'm hoping I can use the powers of nico and my golden tongue to sway Cole nissan/honda in my direction. If not I'll just wait till I'm with my friend colton, he and all his "rich" friends drive sweet cars (new si, new grandprix gtp, new lancer evo 8, ford crewcab diesel dually, and some big new chevy truck). When we go in those things they let us test drive anything we want.except the s2000...which is why I didn't suggest a Z ragtop versus new s2k challenge...:-(

greg, I would definitly be interested and I have years of writing training, creative and professional (spelling on the other hand...), so I'm sure I could get the job done.

The only issue I forsee is me being under 18, and the liability along with driving the vehicles.

Actually a pretty good writer, just sometimes longwinded. I'd like to try and make a review, mostly to see how my skills match up. Email me boss, in case you forgot; [email protected]
