I will also be selling my DataSystem ASE664 which I imported from Japan a short while back. Information and pictures can be found here. Looks just like that in person and it's incredibly tiny!

I bought it with a wiring harness that should fit. However both the ASE664 and the wiring harness are untested and as such are sold as-is. The unit looks new and comes in original plastic packaging.

Retail is over $450 JUST for the ASE664. Factor in the wiring harness for another $115 and you're sitting at $565 + in Japan shipping + international shipping + brokerage fees + taxes + 5% PayPal fees if you paid like me!

Will ship FedEx at a discounted rate anywhere in Canada or the U.S.

Accepting offers by e-mail.

Why are you selling all the active stuff. Are you giving up on the active or are these items surplus to requirements. Do you have the other 5 accumulators

Hey rover3l,

To make a long story short, my Q45a's engine has seized and I'm either going to part it out or convert it. As it stands the active suspension system was quite damaged from the consistant driving without fluid in it. The guy who was driving my car at the time managed to cause $7500+ in damages to it... so I'm either going to restore it with a built up engine and convert it, or part it out.

Unfortunately I don't have the other 5 accumulators, though 4 is all that you need to restore your ride to as new.

The ASE664 can control your vehicles height manually or they can be set by speed. With this controller you can raise your Q 10mm and lower it 50mm (approx 2"). This is an aftermarket part that I decided would be best for my Q45a and my needs. I would highly reccommend getting a controller if you have a Q45a.

Sorry to hear about the problems it would be great if you could save this Qactive. I have already replaced the 4 main accumulators and am considering doing the other 5 once I have sorted out other suspension issues such as bushings and rattles

Where are you in Canada. I currently work in St. Catharines Ontario but live on the US side. In a couple of weeks I relocate to Massachussets area

Ah! Glad to hear your resto is coming along! All the best to you.

I live in Edmonton, Alberta... way out on the West coast. You U.S. folk are lucky... there's NICO members all over the states. There's none up here!

I am interested :)

Can you take a picture? I know what it looks like, I'm trying to get a shot that can show size relation. I think I may have a perfect place to mount it

Ryan,

Unfortunately I made the assumption I was going to be selling it to someone in the U.S., so I kept it in Vegas. I may be able to get a picture of it, but it'll take a while.

It's height is about the same size as a penny's diameter at the largest and it's maybe a 2.5" or 3" square (?). It truely is TINY!!

It sounds like roughly the size of the Sony headunit cd changer control thing.

My ride has a custom center piece that houses everything. I was considering taking the sony cd changer hu out, and putting this in it's place.

Did you ever figure out if the harness was correct?

Absolutely no idea on that note. I saw the car once while I was in Vegas and I really really didn't want to look at it again. I can't believe someone could do that to a car that isn't their's!!! Arg. The anger. I'm short $5k+ and he walks away with a smile on his face...

Sorry for the ranting...

So if you F-d this guy up, would they extradite you from Canada to stand trial? These are the questions that would be running through my mind at night :D

Ahh a voice of reasoning...my thoughts exactly. Sometimes the law just plain sucks or the lack of law. I had a landlord take my rent monies/security deposit/and last months rent when the condo I was renting from him was foreclosed on without my knowledge and all my personal belongings were siezed as property of the bank and all this happened 5 years ago when I was away for a week on vacation. I tried taking the SOB to court to get my $2,500 out of him...but he filed for bankruptcy and laughed all the way out of court saying you can't touch me or harass me since I am in bankruptcy procedings (damn law sucks).....well about 30 minutes later I was sitting behind bars after knocking the MF out on the floor in the court house....best damn punch ever and best community service part was cool as well working with underprivledge kids teaching them to play basketball.....which as really rewarding and fun.

BTW...the bank was cool after they found out what had happened and returned all my stuff...but the whole experience sucked as I had just moved in 3 weeks prior and he knew exactly what he was doing taking my $2,500 cash knowing that the place was being foreclosed on in matter of days/week.

Extradition....don't think so if we can't get the Canadian gov't to extradite 2 soldiers that fled to Canada to avoid the Iraq war

It may have ended up in your junk mail... not too sure, but I definitely sent it. In any case, she's yours... (paypal = [email protected]).

Brian, that's surprising to hear... yet we're still few and far between. 3 known Canadian members and 17k+ U.S. ones! :P I'll have to start up some sort of advertising campaign up here!

Seen some nice Q45s up here lately... REALLY makes me wish I had one! I envy the lot of you.

The Beamer is a nice car and I LOVE the 5 speed, just gotta get some smaller issues and one major transmission issue sorted out before I stand a chance at liking her the way I liked my Q.

Good luck, Corey! I know Q45 are very rare in Canada, eh?

As rare as Canadian members on NICO! So far I've seen four up for sale in Edmonton and area, though there's always a few G50's in the autotrader. I'm unsure if I've ever seen a 94-96 for less than $8k CAD locally and at that price you'd probably spend more restoring them then what you paid for 'em!
