Attending a New Car Clinic @ my local Nissan Dealer.....

Recieved an invite today. Service Mgrs, Parts Mgrs & Service techswill be on hand to answer any new car questions.

I'm thinking if I could compile a bunch of questions from members here, Iwould take a list with me & maybe get some answers.

So..............If anyone wants to email me a question or 2 I'll begin toassemble a list.

The Clinic is next Thursday. I will try & post answers here when Iget back.

How about asking if the Rogue has a timing belt or timing chain? Our NX2000 has chain (never needs replacing) and Pathfinder has timing belt (replace at 105k).

how about the reliability of the CVT? Is there a point down the road where they expect the number of CVT replacement/overhauls to jump?

I asked that question as well. I was told chain. I was also told that first tune up wouldn't be until 105K.

Just got back from the "new car clinic" @ our dealer.

It was a nice event, got to meet & greet w/ the sales managers &service managers. Had a sit down question/answer session.

Very informative. They basically went over the warranty/service scheduleto make sure all new owners knew what to expect.

btw, it is indeed a timing chain & not a belt.
