i think you'd get a better answer if u put your rollerblades and short shorts on and skate on down there.

well over $12,000 with internal work if your not doing the labor yourself. Probably more than that...

oh, someone else with more money (or maybe not-just more ambition) than knowledge...i'm not trying to be rude, but you can get that much power for REAL cheap. Even for WAY less than Jspectuner says! If you really watch your pennies you can probably hit 550 hp on the dyno...

...and blow up the engine three seconds later!

MMMM man sandwitch.

Dude 500 HP = 1,000 bucks. Just get a 350 shot for your KA.

Ask the guys at Phase2 and Enjuku how mutch it will cost for a 500 HP SR. I'll bet they will audibly laugh. Mustangs are cheeper.

You would also really have to talk about how you want the power to be made.. Is it going to be a huge lag drag turbo, like a t88, :), or is it gonna be a smaller t4 or something that will spool alot quicker, and be for more of a road car. That alone will be several thousand dollar difference, and can both achive the power u want. Be alot more specific, and call the shop atleast.. Why would they want to post any prices on the forum, when prices change everyday.......

Just send me $400 and you can help me get 400rwhp on my SR. Or better yet send me 1500 and help me get 500rwhp.....

Did you happen to read the "HP on SR" thread I stuck at the top of this page? And did you happen to think to yourself "gee enjuku has all these parts for sale, maybe I could go and add them all up and get an idea what it will cost" or "well Ken has his mod list for 497rwhp, how about I copy that since it obviously worked for sombody else"

but this is easier...... too bad you have to put up with ***holes like jessie hehe

I've probably spent over $2k in lift/garage/tool rental to install my SR and all my other related goodies.

You didnt even include internals in there (yes thats a must unless you have to money to replace a blow'd up motor). There is another $2000 right there.

Its not ALWAYS necessary to have internals as previously proven by 3-4 shops and a few individuals in between. Although it is a ticking timebomb, some may say.... but the limit has yet to be reached. There is a rumor that a local shop in Central FL has had a FWD SR running 550rwhp for an entire season of racing, and internals were still in good condition.

yes, stock internals. I can't remember what the exact numbers are... but Secret Services are at 530, phase 2 is at 520, Enjuku is at 500, etc. Again, that was an approximation, but you get the idea.

yeah, but those are all tuned on dynos by people you could consider professionals, the average person will destroy their motor because of improper/lack of tuning.

EDIT: and i bet they are using standalone fuel managment which is another $1200 anyway

A tuned ECU is in the list above. :)

a tuned stock ECU cannot do what a full standalone system can.
