I was just texted this link and I had no idea this was taking place. How exciting! An attempt will be made to try and see the actual Super Massive Black Hole directly at the center of our galaxy using telescopes from around the world to act as one giant one the size of Earth.

I will bet that its not a sphere. Something about Dark Matter/Energy tells me it will completely change the structure of it.

Has anyone heard about this or seen results? I couldnt find it in my daily science emails. Hope its not a fake post

...hmm...several telescopes watching the galaxy to find its center...from one point of view (planet earth)...hmmm...the story of the blind men with the elephant... :cool:
