I have trouble detaching the front brake lines from the stock front struts. Throw the rookie a bone here now, thx

noob

use a plyer and you can yank off the clip that's holding the brake line to the strut

he does not know about the clip.. it happned to me too

you can't really tell there is a clip especially when it's been sitting there for like 13 years already

anyways the clip was hard as hell to see on mine, it was near the same color

sometimes pulling w/pliers doesn't work. What I do is I use a flat head screwdriver on the tab, and hit the screwdriver's head w/a mallet to slide it out.

PB Blaster is the greatest invention known to modern man. Screw putting a man on the moon, PB Blaster was the height of our technological achievements in the 20th century.

Anyway, I had to "persuade" my brake line clips with a hammer and large flat head screwdriver too. Just a few shots on that little lip on each side of the clip broke it loose.

yeah that clip was piece of cake for me, but i have never met a clip i couldnt handle.

actually that's q45 brake install

the dust shield is not coming off so we had to use power tool to cut it.

that **** burns without proper clothing/protection so this is what we came up with
