I am looking for Attain, but I hear it is giong to be a long time before the next shippment of these will be availible for sale. Does anyone know of a place that has them in stock, or if the S14's will affect my offset significantly? I have already ordered my wheels with an offset to match conversion hubs (attain, GTO, Peak) and don't want to mess up what I ordered...

the Attain are simply a reverse engineered, aftermarket S14 5lug hub. Mine had creeking bearings when new in the box. Swapped out my 1 month old bearings from the 4lug hubs, into the attain hubs, problem solved.

Get the S14 hubs ONLY and have a shop press in S13 bearings. Same deal, no issue with offset.

Why would you use S13 bearings over S14 bearings?

Because thats what it takes to get S14 Hubs on S13 Spindles.

What the hell are you talking about "offset to match conversion hubs". Any hub will be the same length or it will make your Caliper and Rotor fight in ways that would be intresting to watch at the least.

Attains are weaksos, 90% of the people that have them have problems.

Peaks are decent from what I've seen.

S14s work and should be the cheapest.

In case we weren't clear:S13 and S14 bearings have the same outer diameterS13 bearing inner diameter is smaller than S14 bearing.

So, at the parts yard, pull the S14 hubs from a car and have a shop press S13 bearings into them. This is so simple.

You are kind of treating me like a noob here Mc... conversion articles say you need spindles, which could potentially move the wheel in our out depending on geometry... however, I think I was thinking of if you use the LCA from a S14... that's what pushes the wheel out.

Out of all the 5 lug conv articles (included the one in the sticky above) say these are the parts you need:

For S13 Front:

S14 SE Hubs

S14 SE Spindles

S14 Ball Joint (will need to be pressed into your existing S13 Lower Control Arm)

Nothing about S13 bearings pressed into S14 hubs... I knew the S13 is 30mm ID and the S14 is 32mm ID... but I didn't know it was as simple as changing the bearings out. Someone should update the sticky...

Thanks for the help SRSmith

Get the s14 hubs because of the cost and because the attain/other aftermarket brands have no benefit over the s14 other than a little bit of an easier install........................ Also because i'm selling some hubs on ebay right NOWW!!!!!!!!!!!! : )

Found out the expensive way they don't have the same size...

S13 OD is about 4mm bigger than the ones that came in the S14 hubs I got...

Need to figure out what I'm going to do now...

So, do the bearings fit, or not? I need to do a 5 lug conversion myself, and I am interested in the bearing swap.
