Hey everyone, I apologize if this has been covered already but I did try and search and didn't come up with what I'm looking for. All of my vert's tweed door panel inserts (except for the driver's) had begun to separate from the door panel, so I figured it was time to recover them anyway. I re-wrapped them in vinyl, and it turned out great, but I'm not sure how others have reattached them to the actual door panel. I know most screw it in, but I'd like to avoid that if possible. I was thinking epoxy all around the insert and staples to hold it while it dries, but figured I would ask before I commit to that. Thanks.

Had mine done by a interior place they stapled it. Looked great. I'd go with that if possible wasn't expensive.

Hi Temp Spray Glue. Get some for vinyl Landau roofs or headliners - made to stay up even when 150+ degrees.

The spray glue for attaching the inserts to the door as well? That would be nice, as I already have the DAP Weldwood stuff from wrapping the vinyl.

DAP Weldwood is pretty much the best glue out there - I bought a gallon of it just to do the panels 'cause I couldn't find a smaller can! You should remove the vinyl that is left after pulling the tweed off.

This is your best bet. Not messy and secure.
Use this from the backside of the panel. Screw has to be short so it should go through the insert only the half way.
