I have tried searching every way I can think of for this simple task but haven't found any info. What glue or adhesive should I use to reattach the Q45 onto the trunk? Thanks!

I finished putting a spoiler on a few weeks ago and bought a new set for about $15 from Joe. The nice thing about a new set is they come mounted on clear plastic film that is cut to match the corner of the hood. Makes the placement and spacing very easy.

Short of buying a new set, I would go purchase some thin tacky tape from an auto parts store and trim it to fit the back of the numbers. It's probably the same tape that's used on the door strips (real thin, real sticky). It should be in an auto parts store but if not visit a local body shop and ask what they use. As narrow as you need to cut it I bet if you're nice they might give you the 2 square inches you need to reattach them. Good luck.

Someone here mentioned using RTV (liquid gasket) but I don't know how that worked out long term.

I used 3M emblem glue. Most auto parts stores carry it. I used it on my first Q when I switched the logos from gold to chrome. They never fell off.

3M mounting tape will work if you dont mind cutting. Evan's suggestion sounds better.

Tech was the one that mentioned using RTV, i dont know how tacky it is might cause the emblems to fall off.. I like evan's suggestion.
