I'm getting ready to drop my redtop in my s13. Where did you guys attach the chain for the engine hoist. The exhaust side of the head has some threaded holes to put some bolts into, but what about the intake side. Is it a bad idea to wrap the chain around the intake manifold? Thanks.

Thanks for the replies guys. I guess I'll go ahead and use the intake unless somebody jumps on here and screams not to. Can't wait to get this bad boy in.

We just literally bolt the chain on somewhere sturdy.

I used some eyelets I got at the junk yard. Last time I pulled a motor I could only find one of them so I used that stupid plate of metal thats atached to the ac line as it hits the firewall.

Yeah, I would like to use some eyelets and they would attach easy on the exhuast side but there is now where to put them on the intake side. I'll just use the manifold or the mount or....something. Thanks for your input guys.
