atp light help needed

i have a 2002 nissan pathfinder se 4x4 .
my dash has the atp light light on.
even-though the car does not roll away while in park.
i replaced the atp SWITCH ASSY-4WD part # 32005-0W01A.
and the light still did not go away.
do i have to reset something?
how can i find out whats wrong ?

forgot to mention.
my 4h to 4lo is manual select { shifter }
and the light only comes on when the transmission is in park.
the light goes away when i shift the transmission out of park , and then comes back on whenever i put it in park
