NATURALLY ASPIRATED!!!Had to clarify that to speed this along. Will more than likely be buying an s14 de motorset shortly, couple of q's and/or concerns: First how similar is the wiring to the det, and secondly does this engine run the same clutch and flywheel as the det? If anyone can shed some light on this particular swap, into a '90 hatch, or direct me to someone that can I would really appreciate it.For the record, no plans for boosting. Just good ol fashion 11:1 comp. lumpy cammed, carburated goodness. With a twist of 7.8k redline for flavor.

Im doing the exact same swap, an S14 SR20DE into an '89 coupe. I want to stay NA. the only thing I've heard that would be a problem is the header. aparently it bumps into the USDM steering column. Im currently trying to find a way around this. I've got the engine and everything so the swap IS going to be finished. maybe we can help each other out and give each other information as we go because not too many people do this swap. Im pretty sure im gonna send out my wiring to wiring specialities or take it to Enjuku racing because they're local ( about 15 min away from me). and they're both NICO sponsors. if you want you can email me at [email protected] and keep me posted on the progress and I'll do the same.

I had all but given up on this thread, fortunately the ff guys helped . I plan on using a hotshot header w/correct flange and a slight angle before the cat. Intake will be built around a Tweak It plenum. ITB's or carbs. I plan to source out the wiring as that part scares me. Its good to talk to a like mind and I am more than glad to share what little I have. Expect an email in a few days.
