Hi all - we're going to try again for a get together of the folks with SR20 motors. We'll meet at The Corner Pub in Decatur, 'bout 7-9p Th 16th August, and starting at about 5p Sunday 19th. We'll try twice just to see who likes what. If you haven't seen one, I'll be bringing my VE'd B13. there are some GORGEOUS turbo installs in the group, too. If you haven't got one but like the motors and their cars, and a GREAT bar, come on over.

The Pub is owned by the kid of some very good friends (sorry, no discounts), Joshua Elrod. He started cooking in his mom's kitchen when he was about 4. He's ecstatic to have us, his staff, his cooking and his adult beverages are first rate. My favorite watering hole. Paste 627 E College Ave, Decatur, DeKalb, Georgia 30030 into Google Maps (or your favorite other map site).

Maybe the easiest big landmark is the Avondale Marta station; if you're coming from somewhere north, turn towards town after crossing Sam's Crossing (the bridge going over the tracks just east of the station), turn R (west) on College Ave. Couple blocks past the Marta parking you'll see on the left two signs for East Decatur Station (kind of a 50's looking sign) - one at New St., then another at the main entrance just down the street. Corner Pub is right there. Still suggest you look for a gaggle of sr20 cars 'round back.

You could take Commerce Drive going south through Decatur which would take you under the tracks to College Ave; turn L (east) and turn into East Decatur Station at the first sign. If you miss it, turn at the next R which is New St. and first parking lot entrance to your R gets you around back.

There are several ways to get there from 285; just dial up your favorite map site and punch in 627 College Ave, Decatur, GA, 30030-5320, US; if it asks East or West, it's East. Just remember as you're coming in it's just like the rest of this town - the roads change names about every fifteen feet.

I'm a ways away, but I'll also be working on the car that weekend doing a brake upgrade, etc.
