Preliminary date is May 15th. Preliminary time is "high noon" (12PM) I will be able to reserve this date if I get enough donations by Monday or Tuesday of next week. Out of town folks can stay at the extended stay motel 3 miles away, at SR20 and HWY400.

Everyone that can needs to ante up 10 bucks for the reservation and food. Anyone who does will get a reserved parking space at the facility. The rest of the spaces are first come first serve. The facility is going to be "Upper Overlook" at Buford Dam. You guys can check the site out at http://lanier.sam.usace.army.mil/.

For folks that are willing to donate:

My paypal address is: chaddhall@@@@charter.net (just remove the extra @'s)

Donations of 10 bucks will be great, If you wish to donate more, it will be greatly appreciated. Anything over the 75 dollars it takes to reserve the facility will go to burgers/hotdogs/drinks/charcoal.

With your donation, please specify your NICO screenname and your real name.

It will be required that you print out, or write out your screen name on a sheet of paper and bring it with you to leave in your front window to get your prime parking. (This is really only if the event gets larger than 20 people or so.)

The date will be finalized and guaran teed once i get enough donations to meet the 75 dollar fee. No refunds after the reservation has been made.

Just for the guys coming to the meet. There is no alchohol allowed in the park. You want to bring a flask, that's your business, but don't get us kicked out by bringing a cooler full of beer.

Camel,

You said it was cool if I drop by in my Q45. Do you mind if I gather a few more Infiniti drivers to come? I mean Nissan and Infiniti go hand in hand and it sounds like you're gonna have a great day. Besides drooling over each other's rides, what else do you going down?

bbq, horseshoes, frisbee, soft drinks, sun, and the lake, that's about it.... Maybe a mountain run if people feel like it. Infinitis are welcome, this is primarily 240's but it IS a "NICO" meet.

Hmm looks like I may have to drive the RB out there, since I live only 40 minutes west of Atlanta. That drive will be rough though...my RB has no A/C or any air for that matter. Let's hope going down the interstate with the windows down will keep me cool. If not don't make fun when I get out of the car smelling like a dead pig ;) I'll see if I can get someone to drive some of our SR swapped cars down also. Luckily for them all of those have A/C ;)

I won't know for another few days if we're coming for sure. I'm assuming it's ok to donate $10 anytime before the meet?

Donate anytime. It is appreciated and will go to food and get you a parking space right up front. I need them all in before Saturday though. Looks like this is going to be a great meet. And by the way, who is we?

We is myself and the other people and cars from 240supply.com . Right now we're just a group of family and friends that like to work on 240s, although eventually we plan to try and make some money off of it somehow ;)

For those that need directions you can call the Lanier Office from the website that is in the first post or you can use this link:

http://www.mapquest.com/maps/m...rch++

It will put you at "The DAM Store". Upper Overlook is roughly a half mile west on Buford Dam Road. It is on the south side of the road away from the lake's edge.

If you cross over the dam coming from the Dam Store, you have gone too far.

The road goes up a hill and between some small one story buildings and doglegs to the left. You will see the shelters at that point.

Anyone else that is having problems finding directions, let me know.

Also, I am bringing my "TIP JAR" to help cover my costs in setting this up. So please bring a couple of bucks to throw in the jar if you can afford it. All of those with KAT's and SR/RB/CA swaps are exempt becuase we know you don't have any money left. (Just Kidding, everyone should help out a little.) Besides, I will throw a some food and drink your way for some help.

Last chance to get a reserved parking space is Friday. For those of you that donated, show up as early as possible. The parks folks have told me if the lot fills up, we have to give up any leftover spaces and then they lock down the lot as full. So I would get there in plenty of time. Don't show up at 4 in other words if you can help it.

Can't wait till Saturday, should be a load of fun.

Rain or Shine, I will be there just like the USPS. We have the facility reserved and it fits 90 people. Only 60 odd parking spaces are going to be available, and that is first come first serve. I am going to block a couple off for the original donators.

Guys, just to let you know, you do not have to pay to come. I have had that question alot. If you plan to eat without paying, bring some food to cook on the grill or whatever. I will also be accepting donations for food and the like. Just be courteous about other people's supplies and donate accordingly. If you want a hotdog and a coke, drop a dollar in the bucket so we can send someone down the street to get more when we run out. Simple as common sense.

I am really excited about seeing all of y'all this weekend. I am talking to a local performance shop about giving us the hookup on discounted dyno runs for that afternoon. Or maybe discount coupons for our group. We will see how that pans out when I talk to the owner tomorrow.

Dude!

I'm planning to be there in my Q45, but nothing's for sale. Have you heard from any other Infiniti folks? I posted around, but didn't hear anything. Are the girls there gonna look like the ones from F&Furious?

:)
