So we take my beater s13 240 to a friend's birthday party last night.

Then we go to LOTUS off piedmont near Lindbergh.

There are some new condo's there, and the parking is just on the street.

Well we come out of the club about 1:45am last night (this early morning) and see that some ****bag has backed into the front of my parked car.

I have never seen this much damage to a parked car - and the ****er didn't even leave a note.

Guess what hit me? I'll tell you what I know: that there was a black lifted late model truck with alabama tags parked in front of me when I parked. He had a lift kit and 'the stars fell on...' tag, along with some oversize offroad tires and a box hitch iirc. I wish I had written his plate down - because we were like, damn that's a big truck and totally unnecessary. Total AL stereotype, y'know? Well my hood is smashed up to the crumple zones. Front bumper is pushed in very nicely, front left fenter is mashed in. Radiator support is smashed in to the point that the hood won't close or latch at all. One of the headlights was smashed all to **** and the broken glass and plastic components of which were all over the ground.

So if you see a truck matching this description with maybe some minor damage or scrapes to his bumper or hitch, exhaust area, please take his tag # down... he may still have some white paint from my car on it.

I know it's a long shot, but I'm estimating over 3k in damage.

That sucks, better call the police, and report a hit and run, insurance companies take care of that even if you only have liability. But as for the truck, you know you just described almost 50% of Georgias truck population and, 75% of Alabamas Good luck.

Most of Alabama's inhabitants own something either exactly like that or damn close, so good luck with finding the f*cker. If I see anything with that description around here, I'll try to take a pic and send it to you, along with the tag #.

Yeah, your car is totalled unless you want to fix it yourself..Sorry to hear that man, that's really screwed up.

Anything else distinguishing about the truck?

Wow, I'm horrified trying to think how you got tire rubber on the front fenders if he was in front of you...... WTF???

Sorry bro, that looks like my Z which was totalled when i ran it up under a pick up truck. Actually such minor damage I bought it back and fixed it myself in a couple of hours. lol Had to use a 20lb sledge to pull out the headlight box and had to take off the front bumper support to make the bumper go back on. Other than that a fresh coat of paint on the bumper and it was all good. No frame damage, no headlight damage, though it warped a fender.

Anyways, that was a offtopic rant lol. Good luck man.
