Yeah, the aerobics werent for gaining weight... they're for losing fat. Sure, I want to gain weight but I want to loose asmuch fat as I can... Not to mention its good to get exercise for the heart... No matter how young.

yeah i have done it and many of my friends have done it aswell

you lose a hell of a lot of weight real quick!!!i dropped 20 lbs in 1 month to get ready for sportsdo it for a short while,

there is still debate over wether or not it is bad for your health, but i figure eating fat and oil for a prolonged period of time cant be good

it gets very very very sickening after a while, no bread, no fruits after a few weeks you'll never want to eat meat again

good luck!!:)

I tried it last year and it worked very well. I'm 5'7" and have had weight problem(s) for years: heaviest I weighed was a bulky 210 lbs. in the spring of last year. With a little bit of the Atkins diet and a little bit of working out, trimmed my weight down from a flabby 210 to a well-cut 150 lbs. Funny thing is, I had MORE energy after going on the Atkins diet despite the lack of carbs. I was able to hit the weights hard and still have enough gas in the tank to run 2-3 miles a day.

Ever since a groin injury, I've gotten off the diet and haven't hit the gym. I feel like a lardo right now (170) and plan on getting back on the diet soon.

While I was on the diet, I ate mostly lean meat ie chicken breasts, fish and seafood. There were also lots of veggies and some carbs too. It's not about totally depriving your body of carbs, just knowing your body's "minimum amount."

By the way, Atkins' diet isn't strictly meat: a friend of mine was and is still on it and his diet consists mainly of veggies, tofu, etc.

i think some of the healthiest looking people are Raw Foodists....but thats an extreme way of life..i have tried it, but it got expensive, and tiring, but i never really had the right knowledge and didnt read enough.

(i have been a competitive athlete on the national level my whole life, and never been overweight, but always keep a kene on my body, and nutrition)
