I think most people buy spoilers just for looks, not performance. I personally don't like spoilers on non sport cars, its like a bald guy with a toupee. Some cars look good with spoilers thou, I don't think the Coupe is one of them.dragon17 wrote:What's the point? eh...it looks okay. But yeah, what's the point of putting a spoiler on a FWD car...dragon17 wrote:What's the point? It's not like this car is a purebred racing car that needs the rear end to be pushed down. It's not even RWD.
personally I like the stock spoiler for the sedan better..(which is why i got one..heh). I dont like those little spoilers...reminds me of those ugly Taurus ones they used to have for the Fords...just my opiniondiane82 wrote:Finally a picture with the spoiler!!! $176 unpainted and $266 painted. What do you guys think??? Im not sure if I'm feeling it, I mean I've always had a spoiler on every car I've own.
Here is where I found the pictures.http://www.cardata.com/spoiler...s.htm
Well said. The coupe's rear design is rather distinct and differentiates itself from the Altima sedan, G35 coupe, and 350Z. Keep it different without the unnecessary conformity.CoupeLover wrote:I have always been a fan of putting a spoiler on a sporty car, but after picking up my coupe today I'd have to agree with all of you that say that it doesn't need it. It really is a beautiful car and doesn't need a spoiler put on it. It is awesome just the way it is.
The dealer installed spoilers I saw here in Dallas were around $795 installed. Way too much IMO.turbocoupe wrote:I saw this on another Altima Coupe Forum http://www.altimacoupes.com/fo...d=156 This is the same spoiler I saw the other day. The guy said they were dealer installed. T C
