ATF or PSF

yo, im my chiltons for my 92 240, it says to refill the powersteering with ATF (auto trans fluid)...should i do that? or just put powersteering fluid? cuz i already bout powersteering fluuid....

ATF is an alternative if you have P/s fluid just use it. They are both hydrolic fluid. I believe that ATF has better detergent properties but they both do the same job.
