I have gone through past posts about what type of ATF to use for the I30 ATF. Would the Castrol Dexron III work as well as the Mobil 1?

The Mobil 1 ATF should hold up longer and has a better additive package. It also tends to have better resistance to temperature extremes. Cheaper fluids under normal conditions just need to be replaced more often. The I30 transmission is fairly reliable, so I don't think you're making a huge mistake or anything... just the fact that you're replacing the fluid is a good thing!
