ATF Cooler and Fluid Question

Hey guys,

My SR Auto (yes an auto; flame on...) is on it's way and I have the mishimoto ATF cooler in hand. I found that the trans takes about 7 quarts of fluid. My question is, should I add extra to compensate for the larger cooler and lines than factory or should the FSM recommended fluid amount be fine?

you will need more since you are essentially increasing your capacity. I would get another 2 quarts or so to be safe. Verify your level once the trans is up to temp.
