Hi, i just bought my 2007 G35S sedan about a month ago, and since i live in Canada which snows a lot in the winter, I shout out $2000 to order a set of winter tires and rims from tirerack.com. Along with my order i got the ATEQ's tire pressure monitoring reset kit. What i have found is that this tool will not pick up the sensor ID that's on the car right now. Has anyone bought and used this reset kit before? If you have, please advise me on what should i do to make it work.
Also has anyone ordered TPMS from tirerack before? Do they work with the car's computer? (since my kit isn't working, i can't check right now)
Thanks in advance for the suggestions.

To be honest you should have just saved the money and lived with the tire pressure light. The TPMS should work with your system without any issues.

I'm very interested in this topic but I have nothing to add about this currently. Personally I have been waiting to see this and it seems like they work if you have the actual ID numbers from the sensors which might seen like a daunting task but it is possible to get the ID numbers but it might cost you. The dealer has the ability to read the code numbers for registered tires, there is also a new essential tool that all dealers have that allows for faster programming of everything except the early Y50.

Huh I find it interesting that Tirerack no longer sells these....

The saga continues.

I've used the ATEQ tool on my 2009 G37X when I swapped to my winter wheels - Tire Rack gave me the codes of the sensors to program in the software and I also used the tool to pull the sensor codes from the car for the factory wheels. Software worked great and reset the light no problem. It might be because you have a 2007? Take a look at ATEQ's website, but I think the tool is only good for 09 and later?
