ATC Never the right temp?

In the wifey's 93 J30 the automatic temp control isn't...well...automatic really. It never seems to put out the correct temp. Its always too hot or too warm. Leaving it on 24 C is generally too cold and you need to set it to 27+ to get any real heat. It constantly runs the AC unless you have it on economy mode also.

Ugh... lame.

The ATC in my 97 Concorde was great. Set it to 72 F and leave it all year round. It even automaticly defogged the windows for me. I literally didn't adjust it ever over 2 years.

Try leaving it at 80. That's usually where mine is, it feels 72ish. System works well, it's just not accurate. IMHO, if it blows cold + no Chrysler = Win. Get one of those corded fishing sweaters and use it as you 'car coat', mmmm, wooly.
