I am half heartedly considering poncams for my motor. Cliffsnotes is 33psi from an HX35 turbo. Is there any extra power to be had at these power levels?

Thanks guys, I am hesitant to give up too much streetability.

at what point are cams worth their cost/while? here is what i say: when you have so much into your car/engine/transmission that the cost to squeeze out the extra second or two is worth twice the price of whatever you are thinking of doing/modding. lol (dont forget, that doing cams- you might as well do a full valve job.)

take myself for an instance: there is so much i can do to my racebike; but at the end of the day, i dont have a need to spend the large money to shave the extra few seconds off of my laptime just yet. i have done the minimal mods, the moderate mods, and the mods id like to have. the larger work: $1,000 rear suspension & $1,000 front fork suspension, would be nice - but honestly, it wouldnt be worth the money at this time. what im trying to say is, (and idk if this applies to you or not) the $2,000 i would spend on front & rear suspensions, could be spent on more track time to get ME to be a better rider/racer.

think about the money/time spent on this mod: and is it really worth it? or could that same money be spent to get you track time; that will allow you to really fine-tune yourself and hone your skill to make your already mods shine even brighter ;)

Is it worth it? I have no idea. They aren't terribly expensive at about $600. If I can pick up 30whp with them and not have a huge peaky tq curve, I would consider that a good value.

are you going to be doing the install, yourself? will you be doing any checking of the valves/shims?

I would be doing them myself, naturally I would be checking clearances. The procams use the same base circle,so as long as my head isn't falling apart I would be fine... in theory.
