From everything that I have searched, came up with nothing on this one...I have a s13 sr20det, with a MT, MT wiring harness, MT TPS, but an AT ECU...car runs like crap...the problem is the TPS...is there any known solutions to get the AT ECU to recognize the manual TPS? (With out a whole rewire...I've done but this engine harness 5 times on this one swap...any insight would be helpful! Thank you!

you do realize that the tps is the same for both...the auto might have a wot and idle switch but swapping them around isnt gonna help.its in the wiring...

An AT ECU (I have an AT ECU running mine right now) will run a manual car fine. I agree with Carl that it's in the wiring somewhere. Check to make sure there isn't a broken ground somewhere if your ECU is giving you a TPS code.

The engine wiring harness is new, from EnjukuRacing and was pulled from their working drift car...same with the motor, pulled from a working car, great running car, the only thing that I changed was the tps...but if you have an auto ecu, did you have to change some pinouts to get it to work, b/c this has not been done, the wiring harness had a manual ecu on it....thank you for your input btw.

I've swapped MT and AT ECUs around without having to make changes on the harness.

Since you changed your TPS, make sure you have it lined up right on the throttle body. I can't remember the voltage readings for full close/full open off the top of my head.

Tenkawa-maybe you can help me understand this a little more....I've searched for hours now and no prevail..the problem I was having was my MAF. The ground had no resistence to it, I ran a ground from the maf to the strut tower, car starts idles and purrs like a kitten....until I rev it. It won't rev past 2500 rpm. MAF problem, right?, well I've switched the MAFS check the lines and everything is ok....I remove the ground from the strut tower and the car dumps fuel, acts like a bad MAF but revs past 2500!....Please help, this is the only thing preventing my swap from running..TY in advance
