AT to MT swap Question

Im stuck between getting a AT to MT swap for my 240 hatchor just selling it and getting a MT 240 and starting over.

Ive been giving this alot of thought and i was just thinking just simple trade or sell and rebuy a MT 240 but my friend our (machanic) on the car is telling me i scored really big and maybe think about keeping it and just doing the swap because the interieor and motor is so clean for the price i got it and just do the swap but also told me before he saw the inside of the car to just sell because AT to MT swaps arnt always the best ideas because your car wasnt built for that transmition and will always think that it is a AT

MY questiion is if getting the AT to MT swap is it really just the same or better/ worth it or just selling it??

Adn besides the transmission. and ECU what is the diff of parts and make of stock MT 240sx's
